Alegría Corral Jervis is head of the Environmental Department of Falconi Puig Abogados with more than 15 years of experience as a practitioner.

Throughout her professional practice, she has advised major corporate groups on the impact of different legal measures on gaining the approval of the National Assembly. These include the Water Resources Law, the Organic Environment Code, the Tax Development Law and the Draft Health Code. To this end, she has delivered observations and interventions, the vast majority of which were welcomed by Assembly members. She has also been involved in drafting secondary legislation, ranging from regulations issued by the Government to ministerial regulations.

In the public sector, she has worked as an advisor and director within several Ministries and Secretariats. In the private sector, she has held management roles in non-government organizations involved in sustainable development, as well as consultancy positions within the national representational bodies of international and multilateral agencies and organizations such as the World Bank, the United Nations Environment Program (UNDP) and USAID.
