The difference between nostalgia and melancholy is discussed in conceptual terms, defining the former as a social construct and the latter as a personal invocation. Whatever the dimension of both categories may be, the truth is that the subject I will deal with holds both manifestations. Although in both cases it may result, due to the risk and challenge it entailed, in a kind of nostalgia or melancholy in reverse, that is, almost a liberation from that overwhelming weight that came to us in the form of a hardback book, thick and heavy in the literal sense of the word.
